I’m so excited to hear your story soon… but first, is it cool if I share a little of mine?
I grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago and was always a happy, active kid. I loved playing field hockey and badminton, eating my veggies… and yes, plenty of nachos and homemade chocolate chip cookies too. I learned early that life was about balance.
Life was going great… until it wasn’t.
When I was 17, my dad passed away suddenly from complications related to chemotherapy after battling colon cancer. That moment turned my world upside down. The healthy habits and balance that once came easily disappeared for a while.
Over time, I’ve come to believe something deeply:
Your struggles can become your greatest gifts… if you choose to see them that way.
Losing my dad made me realize just how important our daily habits are. Not in a complicated way… in a simple, human way.
Eat well. Move your body. Take care of yourself.
I couldn’t save my dad. But I could choose how I live my life. And I could help others do the same. Every person I help is, in some way, in honor of him.
My path didn’t go straight into health and wellness. I graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Industrial Design. I’ve always loved creating, improving, and adding a little sparkle to things. But deep down, I knew I was meant to help people feel better in their bodies and their lives. So I followed that pull.
Over the years, I’ve explored just about every corner of the fitness world. Marathons, triathlons, adventure races, bikini competitions… I like to say I’ve ordered the full appetizer sampler of fitness 😄
In 2003, I became a certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer. Later, I added holistic health coaching and dove deep into personal development through Tony Robbins’ programs.
But through all of it, one truth kept showing up: It’s not about doing more. It’s about doing what actually matters… consistently.
In 2015, I took the leap to fully step into this work. And everything clicked. I realized I’m still a designer… just in a different way. Now, I help women design healthy, energized lives that actually feel good to live.
💛 Here’s what I know to be true: Most women don’t struggle because they don’t know what to do. They struggle because life is busy, overwhelming, and inconsistent. Especially if you’re a woman who feels like you’ve tried everything. That’s where I come in.
